Colon cancer screening with a simple blood test
Walk in that day or call ahead to save your spot. We’re offering Shield, an FDA-approved blood test that screens for colon cancer. It’s a quick blood draw, with no prep. Shield is for adults 45 and older at average risk for colon cancer.
Shield is not a replacement for a colonoscopy. A positive result should be followed by a colonoscopy, and the test can miss some cancers and precancers. Ask your provider whether it’s right for you.

Ask us about multi-cancer blood testing
Multi-cancer early detection tests look for signals of many types of cancer in a single blood draw. They’re usually offered to adults 50 and older, or others at higher risk, and are used alongside routine screenings like mammograms and colonoscopies, not instead of them. A positive result needs follow-up testing, and a negative result doesn’t rule out cancer. These tests are often not covered by insurance. Ask your provider at your next visit whether it’s right for you.
New patients of every age are welcome.
